STERLING, VA—Dec 21, 2006—AEC Software, a leading developer of project-focused and business productivity solutions, announced today that Government Computer News (GCN), a national publication serving the information needs of management who buy information technology for federal and state/local governments, has awarded FastTrack Schedule 9 the 2006 Lab Reviewer’s Choice Award. In each issue of Government Computer News, the GCN Lab tests a number of products, rigorously assessing the strengths and weaknesses of each offering. In December each year, those products that stand beyond their peers are given the Reviewer’s Choice Award.

FastTrack Schedule 9 was one of only fifteen software solutions to receive GCN’s coveted Reviewer's Choice Award for 2006. After evaluation in GCN’s Lab, FastTrack Schedule 9 was awarded an A- for performance, A- for features and an A for value. The reviewer’s comments included, "FastTrack Schedule 9 is easy to learn, but the key to getting its real advantages is keeping all the data up-to-date. The benefit is overall efficiency across multiple projects." GCN’s full review of FastTrack Schedule 9 is available online at GCN.com.

"We’re thrilled to receive this award from Government Computer News. This accolade recognizes our long-standing commitment to develop the best project-focused solutions for Federal and state government agencies," said Dennis Bilowus, President and CEO of AEC Software. "FastTrack Schedule 9 is an easy to use tool used by a variety of organizations - from USVA to NASA - to schedule, report, and manage project information and achieve project goals."
