FastTrack Schedule 8.0.8 Update
The FastTrack Schedule 8.0.8 Update is a significant maintenance release, focused on making enhancements to existing features, adding new features, addressing some unexpected behavior, and fixing minor bugs. You must be running Version 8, 8.0.1, 8.0.2, 8.0.3, 8.0.4, 8.0.5, 8.0.6, or 8.0.7 to update to FastTrack Schedule 8.0.8.

FILE FORMAT CHANGE: In an effort to significantly enhance performance and increase stability, a file structure change was required in FastTrack Schedule 8.0.5. All FastTrack Schedule 8 files (as well as v7 and v6 files) can be opened in this new update; however, once saved in v8.0.5, v8.0.6, v8.0.7, or v8.0.8 you cannot revert to a previous file format. Thus, if you are exchanging files with other FastTrack Schedule users, they must also be running FastTrack Schedule 8.0.5 or greater. We recommend that all FastTrack Schedule 8 users update to Version 8.0.8.
The most significant new features and enhancements in Version 8.0.8 include:
- Enhanced alignment of bar labels when text is center or bottom justified
- Improved performance of FastTrack Schedule as an OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) server (Windows)
- Enhanced data exchange when importing Project XML and MPX formatted files
Additional bug fixes in Version 8.0.8 include:
- Settings within the AutoFit Options dialog
- Updating of links between bars when changing the link type
- Display for numbered weeks timescale row
- Failure to launch due to congested network traffic (Mac)
- Printing conflict with select Canon printers
